DOODLE DAY MAY - Day 28

Welcome to Day 28 of the Doodle Day May challenge! This is a doodling challenge created to inspire creativity and reduce stress. If you are someone who wants to improve your drawing skills, then draw every day. You don't have to create beautiful, portfolio quality pieces everyday - just put something on the page. Keep your creativity flowing and your arm moving. Like any skill, drawing takes practice and the less stressful it is, the more you will want to do it so pick up a pencil and draw. If you want to see some prior posts, scroll down and check them out on the right side of this blog.

Today's doodle prompt is PAISLEY OR FILIGREE.
Remember, you never have to use the prompt - doodle whatever else you want but doodle something today.

Here are some Paisley designs for reference:

Whether you doodle a star from the sky or a television star, rockstar, Broadway star... is up to you. You can doodle a star scene, Zentangle star pattern, abstract design of stars, star font, ... This prompt is different from the Space prompt. Focus on the star - make an abstract of stars swirling around your page.

Today's doodle prompt is LEAF.

Draw one leaf. There are soo many shapes and colors of leaves. Draw one from a tree or plant that you like or invent your own. Look at a leaf up close, really close and see the pattern (or lack of pattern) of the veins. Draw a leaf shape and fill it with Zentangles. Doodle a leaf font or a character ... Just don't let yourself overthink it - this is a doodle.
