SkADaMo 9
Every summer of my childhood was spent on our family sailboat. My cat, Twinkie, loved being on the water. Since cats don't want to swim and they have amazing balance, they make fantastic sailboat companions. Every night, Twinkie would crawl into my sleeping bag and sleep in my arms.

Cats and sailboats; I didn't know! Your posts are tempting me to get back to blogging. That's a good thing. Thanks for sharing your pics. :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet- I like the perspective. I used to have a Siamese cat who slept under the covers with me. I had long hair and he loved to snuggle in it. Then one day I cut it short and the poor cat circled my head about 10 times looking for my hair.
ReplyDeleteLaura, that sounds like a story to me. : )
DeleteMy cat would bite my ear to wake me up! Very sweet Alison!
ReplyDeleteI love the name Twinkie!
ReplyDeleteShe was orange and had three white dots on her stomach like the underside of a Hostess Twinkie so the name was a perfect fit.
DeleteLooks like a piece of heaven to me, a kitty and a warm cozy bed.
ReplyDeleteAw! What a cute picture and sweet story!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet, and I like the perspective, too!
