All I can really say about today's coloring page is that I have been spending quite a bit of time outside enjoying the weather, my garden, and the birds. The pandemic is stressful. Not knowing what school will look like for our children is stressful. Your work situation might be stressful. Take a few minutes and get outside everyday (even if it's raining) and breathe. Just listen and breathe.

It is day 101 of quarantine for me and my family. This ribbon represents that we all need just to keep moving and going with the flow (I could have done a water scene). Stay safe, wear a mask when you are in public spaces, and keep coming back for coloring pages every Monday and Wednesday.

This is a Blue Gray Gnatcatcher - it's a bird found in Georgia and other southern states. I have really enjoyed listening and watching the birds while working in my garden so I dedicated this week's coloring pages (and probably next week) to Georgia birds. Stay safe, smell the flowers, listen to the birds.

The Brown Thrasher is the state bird of Georgia and they are such a wonderful bird to watch in my yard. The other day, a baby Cardinal fell out of its nest and the parents were trying to get it to hop up the steps, but ended up just guiding it under a bush. Shortly after, I watched two Brown Thrashers carry worms to the baby Cardinal. The Cardinal parents and two Brown Thrashers were working together to help this baby bird survive. What a great model for our country. Totally different types of birds working together. We are all one.

It's day 86 of quarantine. Protests, fires, destruction, Coronavirus - what a mess. In order to protest, people aren't social distancing. I understand the importance of the protests, but please be safe and be kind.

During the Pandemic, I have spent a lot of time working in my garden. Today, I watched bees enjoy my Dahlia flowers and this inspired my coloring page for today. See the photo that I took that inspired the drawing below.

I had soo much fun drawing the bird and owl that I decided to try a patterned up drawing of one of my dogs. I wanted more of a puppy face than my 7 year old dog has now so I looked up puppy pics of her breed and used that as reference to create my shapes. 

School is out for my children this week, but I will continue to create and post a coloring page on Mondays and Wednesdays while the Pandemic is going on so I hope you will check back here and on my Facebook page to get more coloring pages. I love when you or your children color them and then share them with me.
