New Free Pandemic Coloring Page #96

Today is day #338 of quarantine. I don't want to look back at the last 4 years of mayhem. I would rather Keep Moving Forward. Improving myself. Helping those in need. Learning new things. Getting healthier. Taking care of my family. etc...

New Free Pandemic Coloring Page #95!

Today is February 1st and day 336 of quarantine. Let's talk about hobbies. I garden, I crochet hats for Cancer patients, I just added making baskets to my skills list, I paint, I draw, I write, I juggle, I bike,... People often ask me things like, "You're making a basket? How do you know you can?" My response is simple. "I don't know that I can, but I'm going to try. What's the worst that could happen?" TRY. It is a small word with a big meaning. I ask my kids to try to foods, try new skills, try challenging homework before asking for help, try. I challenge you to try something new. (not something that is a danger to you or others) You cook something that tastes bad? So what? What if it ends up being delicious? You try a new instrument and sound terrible? Keep practicing. I guarantee you will get better. You plant something and it dies? So what? Try again.

Good luck. What's the worst thing that can happen?

New Free Pandemic Coloring Page #93!

Copy, Print, Color

I always begin a new sketchbook with a page for my name. If your name is Alison - spelled this way, you are welcome to print it and use it as a coloring page.

Today's Coloring Page is...BEGIN

Today is day 329 of quarantine. Today, I created a new crochet hat pattern that I'll upload to my Ravelry Store and made one and half samples of it, crocheted several inches of a junk yarn basket, and illustrated 2 new coloring pages for my brand new (old, but unused - I did not go out - there's COVID out there) sketchbook. I get asked often how I work on my garden, crochet hats and create patterns, draw coloring pages, paint in my journal, write children's books, create recipes for cookies, etc... and my answer is always BEGIN. Just start. You want to learn something new? Watch a YouTube video and begin. You have nothing to lose. If the crochet stitch looks terrible, try again. If the cookies taste terrible, change something in the recipe and try again. If the hat looks funky, change the pattern and try again. The only thing you have to lose it time. There is no big secret. Want to try something new? Begin.

Now - go create something.

Today is day #173 of quarantine. With soo much negativity and darkness in the news, in the streets, in the White House, about police, about the USPS, about everything and anything, I challenge you to try to be the light.

Today is day 171 of quarantine. This is has been a very tough week for me. Very little sleep. Lots of anxiety. But, even with all that going on, I am choosing to be the rose. Will you? Join me in this effort and BE THE ROSE.

New Free Pandemic 2020 Coloring Page #50!

Copy, Print, Color, Share

Today is day 164 of quarantine and my children have had a week of digital school. While the system was glitchy, that was to be expected and I think the teachers did a great job. Someone posted that they are paddling on a raft while building it and I think that summarizes their experience well. Thank you, teachers.

Meanwhile, last week was the DNC and the RNC begins tomorrow night. During the DNC, they often flashed up a fill in the blank sentence that began with We the people... just like the Constitution. I really liked this feature so I thought it deserved a coloring page. Stay safe!

New Free Pandemic 2020 Coloring Page #42
Copy, Print, Color, Share
Today is day 136 of quarantine and the teachers and staff for our school district went back to school to start planning. I know that teaching virtually while their own students may be home learning virtually from other teachers will be a very difficult task so to everyone who does not have to be at work out of the home, please, stay safe, stay home, stay strong. The sooner we can get the Coronavirus spread under control, the sooner students can get back to school and parents can focus on their work and lives can get back to normal. If you need to go out for essentials, remember that #maskssavelives. If you need a list of sources to get masks, I can provide that. I have found many great individuals and companies working hard to make masks. Check back on Wednesday for another new coloring page.

Leave a comment if you would like a link list for masks...

Day 101 of Quarantine

It is day 101 of quarantine for me and my family. This ribbon represents that we all need just to keep moving and going with the flow (I could have done a water scene). Stay safe, wear a mask when you are in public spaces, and keep coming back for coloring pages every Monday and Wednesday.

It's day 86 of quarantine. Protests, fires, destruction, Coronavirus - what a mess. In order to protest, people aren't social distancing. I understand the importance of the protests, but please be safe and be kind.

New Free Pandemic 2020 Coloring Page #23!
Copy, Print, Color, Share
I had soo much fun drawing the bird and owl that I decided to try a patterned up drawing of one of my dogs. I wanted more of a puppy face than my 7 year old dog has now so I looked up puppy pics of her breed and used that as reference to create my shapes.

School is out for my children this week, but I will continue to create and post a coloring page on Mondays and Wednesdays while the Pandemic is going on so I hope you will check back here and on my Facebook page to get more coloring pages. I love when you or your children color them and then share them with me.

Free Pandemic 2020 Coloring Page #22
Copy, Print, Color, Share
Quarantine day 65 for my family and even though parts of Georgia are opening back up, we are staying put unless the outing is absolutely necessary (like buying groceries every few weeks). This page has no theme, no intent, no message. I just let my arm go where it wanted to go. If you haven't tried that, try it sometime. Just take a piece of paper and start doodling. I can make a video to demonstrate how to doodle up a repetitive drawing if you want. Just post a comment and let me know if you or your children would be interested in drawing along with a video.

Thank you all for the kind words for these pages. School is out for my children this week, but I will continue to create and post a coloring page on Mondays and Wednesdays while the Pandemic is going on so I hope you will check back here and on my Facebook page to get more coloring pages. I love when you or your children color them and then share them with me.

New Pandemic 2020 Coloring Page!

I've been playing with my bush pen this week and since brush pens have a varied light weight, this drawing looks a bit different than my other coloring pages. I hope you enjoy it. I featured a bird, because I can hear them outside my window. If you want to color any of the other Pandemic 2020 coloring pages I've created, please scroll down to see the other 19.

New Free Pandemic 2020 Coloring Page!
Day 40 here in Georgia and Governor Kemp is opening gyms, tattoo parlors, hair salons, nail salons, bowling alleys and more. I can't imagine how people are going to maintain social distancing of 6 feet apart while getting a haircut or manicure, so I will not be participating in this until it is safe and Georgia has a significant decrease in COVID19 cases for fourteen days. If you own one of these businesses, good luck to you and your employees. I am soo sorry that this pandemic is causing you and your business such hardship.

I drew a strange plant today because it is spring in Georgia and I work in my garden everyday that it isn't raining. Growing fruits, veggies, and spices is relaxing and gives me a way to give something back to the earth.

If you are enjoying my free coloring pages and would like to see more of my artwork, check out my Etsy shop called Doodling Rocks. My shop is full of my handlettered designs on shirts, hoodies, totes, mugs, hats, and more. Please "like" and share my shop if you enjoy it. Thank you.

New Coloring Page!
Free - so save, print, share, color, enjoy.
Day 30 for us here in Georgia. Spring break is over and digital school started back up today. I hope all of you are handling the multiple websites, log ons, printing, zoom calls, Schoology, Edmodo, Office 365 and other apps necessary for school for your children. Hang in there. We are all in this together.

If you are enjoying my pages and my art, check out my Etsy shop, Doodling Rocks for hand lettered designs on shirts, hoodies, hats, mugs, bags, and more.
