April 2014: Doodle Day Week 3 Character Consistency

I planned to spend the week doodling another little science girl but life can change your plans so you have to modify your direction. Last week, my character was into chemistry and you can see those doodles HERE. This week, I wanted to work on a little girl who is into animals and biology. I started off with some doodles of her with a stack of books, looking through a microscope, and using a magnifying glass. Then I doodled her looking at bugs in three different poses. But then... my elderly dog passed away on Monday. My sadness took over my character. My biology character became emotional and instead of poses and actions, my own emotions forced me to draw her with emotion.

Here are my doodles from the week:

Come back soon to check out the character that I play with all this week.
